Tortola we can offer a large selection of yachts and
catamarans for bareboat charter for your sailing holiday
in the British Virgin Islands. Tortola is the largest
of the islands within this archipelago. Flights are
normally via Antigua with a local flight on to Beef
Island which is connected by a causeway to Tortola
to Tortola. The transfer to the yachts isby a local
taxi and takes approximately 30 minutes. The island
offers an array of shops selling everything from local
spices, jams & rums to handcrafted jewellery.
Setsail
amongst the chain of 60 beautiful islands. Visit Virgin
Gorda, Cooper, Peter and Norman Islands with stops
at Fat Hog's Bay, Treasure Point & Round Rock
Passage to name a few, all of which reflect a colourful
past and stretch from Great Tabago in the west to
Necker, 30 miles to the east.

a stroll along the palm-fringed beaches, most of which
are only accessible by boat & explore the translucent
waters that teem with exotic marine life & stunning
coral reefs.
The warm
trade winds, generally blow from the SE at 10-20 knots
through the summer months and NE at 15-25 knots through
the winter months guarantee good sailing. There are
some small currents, running at between 1 and 2 knots,
in the passage between Tortola & St John.
